Kyiv Meat Processing Plant LLC was established on the basis of Bila Tserkva Meat Factory, a meat processing enterprise with more than 80 years of history in the city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Region.

Bila Tserkva Meat Factory is one of the oldest enterprises in Ukraine. At the time of its foundation in 1936, it became one of the first industrial enterprises in the Bila Tserkva region, it was just a primitive poultry slaughterhouse, in 1948 they also added a slaughterhouse for rabbits (with a capacity of 3 tons per shift).

In 1951, the company passed into the jurisdiction of the Bila Tserkva District Consumers' Union, after which the active development of production facilities began.

In 1958, two Hungarian-made conveyor lines were installed, a new refrigerator, a primary cattle processing plant, a sausage and a meat and fat facilities were put into operation.

In 1964 they built a new sausage workshop, the infrastructure was expanded, the range and production capacities of the enterprise increased.

In 1997, the plant was privatized and renamed as Polis LLC. After that, the company began a period of active development: a new sausage facility, focused on the production of sausages by innovative technologies, new technological lines, 12 new technologies were mastered, 69 new types of products were tested, and the sausage products were awarded the "Highest Test" quality mark. 

In 2012-2019, there were no operational activities at the enterprise.
But in 2019, SMK Group buys the assets of Polis LLC, the company is renamed Kyiv Meat Processing Plant LLC and the new life of the meat plant begins.

In October 2019, the work of the meat deboning manufactory was resumed. And they began to develop the project of a new meat processing complex with a total area of 16,000 sq.m.

May 2020. Beginning of the construction, and in March 2021 launching the first stage of a new meat-processing complex.

In the summer of 2021, construction of the second phase (4,000 sq.m.) began.
The peculiarity of the enterprise is its advantageous geographical location - in the center of Ukraine, at the intersection of highways, near the markets.
The company produces products under the brands "Kyiv Meat Processing Plant" and "Cooker".

Nowadays, the company produces chilled meat, semi-finished pork, beef and poultry products, semi-smoked, cooked and smoked sausages.

In total, around 50 items are currently being produced, the enterprise is constantly expanding the range, and new technologies are being implemented.
Production has resumed recently, but the company already has results to show off.

The most popular assortment items due to consumer reviews:

  • half-smoked sausage "Homemade Smoked";
  • sausages for frying "Grill", "Homemade", "Peasant", "Chicken", "Bukovynska".

The production is equipped with modern machinery from leading European manufacturers: HANDTMANN (Germany), SHALLER (Germany), ULMA (Spain), HENKELMANN (Germany), WEBOMATIC (Germany).

The company has a certified food safety management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 22000: 2018.
Safety and quality of the products always comes first. The globally recognized HACCP principles are applied to guarantee product safety throughout the production chain.

Kyiv Meat Processing Plant actively participates in charitable projects, provides financial assistance to local orphanages, the Disability Union, and retirement homes.

The company has repeatedly become a winner of various competitions.
And the basis of the enterprise is planned to be used for a Corporate University of the SMK Group.
